I’m Denis Perevalov – computer vision research scientist, working at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ekaterinburg, Russia). I’m co-author of two Russian patents on robotics computer vision systems (1, 2) and an US patent on voxel graphics.
In 2008 I began to interesting in interactive media, and in 2009 I discovered openFrameworks as wonderful toolkit for my needs. Since 2010 I had taught openFrameworks in the Ural Federal University. From 2011 I had been developing software for art and commercial interactive installations at kuflex.com using openFrameworks as my main tool.
My book on openFrameworks, represented on this site, is a collection of our Kuflex’s ideas and our experience on making interactive installations and performances. I hope it will be helpful to many experienced interactive-media developers.
There are many friends and institutions which help me a lot in bringing this book into life, please read about them on the Acknowledgements page.
